Special fall 1998 newsletter introducing a wonderful new cookbook

I recently received a new cookbook..."Hearty Country Cooking - Savory Southern Favorites".  It was written by Mark F. Sohn...a James Beard Award Nominee.

With over 300 savory recipes...it is a veritable southern feast.  With each recipe... John samples the past and present culinary heritage of nine Appalachian states.  Each recipe is accompanied by a degree of difficulty rating, using fresh ingredients, and updating old favorites to the current trends in mountain cooking.
