Spring 2008 Newsletter
Welcome to Spring.
It's a wonderful time to make some delicious spring recipes. Farmers markets are reopening after the winter season. Our chefs like to visit them for fresh veggies. I have seen them using more asparagus now in their recipes. It is the new trendy vegetable. The chefs also have been making some terrific sauces that are so important in adding flavor.
There are so many new restaurants in town giving me to the opportunity to have new chefs on my cooking show.
I just returned from a cruise where the food was excellent. I have two new recipes that were served on that ship.
I am expecting my fourth great grandchild in June.
Most of my family lives in Richmond Virginia.
My grandson is a chef at a new Olive Garden Restaurant
in the Richmond area.
