Hello game fans,
Hello people! It has been a long time since I update this site. Well, recently I've been pretty occupied with several things.
The first thing I like to tell you is that the rm2k3 project which I have been working on will be delayed. There were several problems which I encountered during making it. It looks like graphics are the most toughest thing too do. The programming for battle, menu, and puzzle are also tough. And the last thing which I'm mostly concern with is the story. I was planning to make the story goes deeper so that people will be interested. However, making a solid dialogue and plot requires time and hard work. Right now, I'm still making the story about 25%. Some of you might have already asked me to release a demo but I don't think that is possible. The problem is that the demo will only have story with no battle or gameplay. I'm planning to make a customized menu and half customized battle system. For the menu I still need to figure out the interface first. As for the battle it will be default rm2k3 but with a bit of twisted features and of course a customized battle animation like my previous rm2k games. Anyway, I don't have a clue when this project will finish. Right now I'm still busy and need to divide my time. However, I can tell you that I intend to finish this one. So, just stay tune for some good news.
The second thing I'm gonna tell you is some information on the project. The project doesn't have a fixed title for now. But, right now I'm calling it the "Start D Grande" project. There will be 4 main characters in the game. The first one will be Anna. She is a girl from a small village who sets out on a quest to find her missing brother. The second one is Gino. He is a hunter who is searching for a legendary treasure which can grant anyone a special wish. The third one is Lufio. He is a Knight of the Fenral organization. As a Fenral Knight he wishes to overcome his late father who had already become a legend among the Fenral. And the last character is Felicia. She is a Protector from the Gradnia Temple. She has a mission to recolllect the powers of the lost Ancient Spirit which have been spread throughout the world. For the gameplay I'm making some puzzles in dungeons. The characters will have special tools which they can use to solve the puzzle. As for the bad guys there will be 2 stories. The first one is about the Falrz Roz organization which is searching for the Ultimate weapon to conquer the world. And the second one will be about the legend of the Light and Dark spirit. Right now I'm still thinking how to mix these two plots together. Hopefully, I can come out with something great.
The third thing is about GS Saga : Re-evolution. Yes! This is an update of the GS Saga rm2k which I and Mikaeru made last year. This time the story will be much longer and there there will be extra dungeons with extra bosses. Since this game will be a stand alone game then the file size is about 30 MB. There is no way I'm uploading that game. Well... not really. If anyone is kind enough giving me some free space at their site then perhaps I can upload the game. But, for you gamers in Indonesia, don't worry. This game will be given to Gamestation Magazine as a freeware and fan/parody game. Hopefully, they will be kind enough to distribute the game as a bonus along with their monthly magazine. So, when will this game be finished? Right now the game testers are still playing it. The fourth thing is YUGIOH CARD BATTLE! Is anyone interested in this one? I didn't at first. I never did like cards game. Thanks to El Fenrir who one day returned from Canada and suddenly gave me two decks of Yugioh Cards, now I'm so interested in this game. I'm a bit shocked to find out that this card game was still played not by kids but also by teenagers and adults. But, after playing the game a while with my cousin I finally realized how great this game was. So, just like any other Duelist, a name for people who battle Yugioh card, I started buying Booster Deck. In Indonesia I'm looking for a place which hold a tournament. But, somehow it is not that easy. I'm just hoping someday I can enter a tournament and duel with other people.
