Welcome to 4312 WallStreet
Online Office of
"There is a lot less to futures trading than meets the eye."
INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this site is to share some thoughts and experiences in the journey of an apprentice commodities futures trader. Since I started in this I have been through a couple of brokers, made a bunch of mistakes and some really bad trades, learned a lot of lessons, and discarded a lot of bad advice. I have also spent money buying "tools of the trade" (charts, so called "expert" advice, etc.) which I found I could get free on the internet. So far I have managed to survive the initiation and started to make some money. I haven't become a millionaire and don't see that in the immediate future, but I have gained some experience, found a tremendous amount of helpful information on the internet, and am finally making some good trades. No, I haven't discovered the "Holy Grail" and you won't find any "secrets of success" in these pages. However, if you want to read about some of the things I have learned and look over my shoulder as I go on down the road you are welcome to come along. I enjoy commodities futures trading, and, for me at least, it has turned out to be the perfect business. It sure beats making wicker baskets or birdhouses and is a lot more profitable than handing out shopping carts at Walmart (I can't imagine spending my retirement at the front door of Walmart trying to make some lady take a cart!). Check it out (trading, that is, not cart distribution). Maybe you'll like it too.
Look over my site, visit the various pages and visit some of the other links listed. Rest assured I will not try to sell you anything or sell
you on anybody, I will not put you on anyone's mailing list and I will not try to sign you up in the business. If you want to get into trading you may find information here or on one of the links which will help you get started - but that will be your decision and your's alone.
Thanks for dropping in. Enjoy your visit and come again if you like. Thanks...and good trading!
Since there are people around who do stupid things like trying to hold a cup of hot coffee between their legs while driving a car and then file suit against MacDonalds when they burn their twat, I feel it necessary to make this statement although I am not a broker, advisor, or in any way connected with the business of commodities futures trading except as an individual trader. Here goes: No solicitation or suggestion is made here for individuals to buy or sell futures contracts. Futures and options trading is inherently risky and should only be undertaken by individuals with adequate risk capital who are willing to risk it and possibly lose it. Past results are not necessarily indicative of future results. What this means is that if you lose your shirt trading commodities futures - don't blame me. You shouldn't, however, if you will put forth the time and effort to study and learn the techniques of trading and then practice them.
