Praia de São João
You have two spots, "São João" and "Cova do Vapor (at the Tagus River)". The first one has some nice waves for beginner, usually they are smaller than on the pictures, something between 0,5m or 1m. The wind comes from the north and is sideshore. The common sails are between 5,3 and 7,5m2. Nice sandy underground without rocks.
The second spot "Cova do Vapor (Tagus River)" has a bad access and the current can be strong. Very nice freeriding conditions during low tide. The wind is onshore and always a little bit stronger than at "São Jõao".
No equipment can be rented over here.
