Praia do Martinhal

The perfect spot for freerider. Flat water and strong winds for sails between 4,5 and 7,0 m2. The wind is as regular as at Guincho, perhaps even more.

Good equipment can be rented at the beach. The ideal season is from May until September, the best months are July and August. During this period the "Nortada" blows offshore at the beach "Martinhal". In case that you are a really good waverider, take a look at" Praia do Tonel . This beach is only 2 or 3 km away and will please you with nice waves,  but pay attention, the rocks do not give any margin for huge mistakes !
