We started researching our family history many years ago.  We would love to hear from anyone who might have information they would be willing to share with us.  It would be greatly appreciated.

In the research that has been done we have discovered that Peter and Hannah Larson Olin came to the United States from Sweden in 1862.  They were living in the 18th ward of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois in 1870.  His brother Sven O. Olin and his wife Anna Sophie Jakobsdotter along with their children:  Josephine, Caroline Elira, Sven Olof, Vilhemia Aveda, Charles Oscar and Otto William were living in the 18th ward in 1870 also.  Also living in the 18th ward in 1870 was a Charles and his wife Mary with their two children Annie and Oscar; Bernard Olin and a L. Olin.  We have not been able to find any additional information on any of these families except for when and where they were born. Sven Olin was born in 1834 in Sweden, his wife Sophie was born in 1836 in Norway, Josephine was born abt 1858, Caroline in 1859, Sven in 1867, Vilhemia in 1869, Charles on October 16, 1869 and Otto on September 20, 1871. &nsp;All of Sven and Sophie Olin's children were born in Chicago except for Josephine and some sources say she was born in Wisconsin and others say Chicago.  Charles Olin was born in 1841 in Sweden, his wife Mary in 1846 in Sweden; Their children Annie was born in 1866 in Sweden and Oscar in 1869 in Illinois.  Bernard Olin was born in 1841 in Sweden also and perhaps could have been a twin to Charles Olin.  L. Olin was born in 1842 in Sweden.  Unfortunately we have not been able to locate any information on Peter Olin's parents.

Hannah Larson Olin was one of five children.  All of her brothers and sisters were born in Burbach, Socken, Sweden also. &nsp;The oldest child Anna Marie was born June 4, 1835 and died October 24, 1911 in Cleveland, Henry, Illinois.  She married John Magnus Stohl on May 10, 1856 in Morris, Grundy, Illinois.  John was born April 16, 1829 in Burbach, Socken, Sweden and died June 4, 1883 in Cleveland, Henry, Illinois.  They had eight children: &bnsp;Carl William, Hannah Eleanore, Albertina Eleanore, Ida Eulalie, John Albert, Hannah C., Hargot May and Otto Bernadotte.  Hannah's next sister Carrie we have not been able to locate when she was born or when and where she died.&nsp; We have found information that she married a man whose last name was Peterson but have not been able to locate any other information on him or when and where they were married.  We do have infomation that they had four children:  Tillie, Minnie, Albert and William.  Hannah's next sibling her brother John Larson we only have information that he was born in 1843 and her other brother and youngest in the family the only information We have is his name Chris Larson.  Her father's name was Lars Larson but we do not know when or where he was born only that he died in 1852 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.  There is no record of her mother's name or when and where she was born, only that she died in 1854 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.
