Dear Everyone,

 

Math and Stat Student Association invites you and your

family for a picnic on Saturday, September 10, starting at

11 am in Rossmoor Park, Seal Beach. The picnic in April

was a great success and we would like to continue this

wonderful tradition.

 

This picnic is in honor of our new chair, new faculty

members, new graduate and undergraduate

 

We will provide grilled chicken, vegetable dishes, drinks

and logistics. You are welcomed to bring a side dish,

vegetarian dish, or dessert.

 

Basketball and baseball fields will be reserved for us.

Any games, life entertainment ideas or such are more than

welcomed.

Directions to Rossmoor Park.

I think the easiest way to find it if you are
coming from Long Beach and you're closer to 7th than to Willow is:

Go east on 7th Street, then take the 605 North and exit on Katella
(which is going East).  You need to get over to your right lane fairly
quickly once you merge with the 605 from the onramp (because you're
merging into the far LEFT lane).
Turn right on Wallingsford.  This is the first street on your right
once
you exit the 605.  There's a light at this intersection.
Go to Hedwig and turn right.   This is the first stop sign that you
reach on Wallingsford.
After driving one block on Hedwig you'll see the park.  We'll meet at
the picnic tables which are on the east side of the park.  So turn left
on Kerth and park on the street.

For those of you who live closer to Willow, just take Willow east, and
Willow becomes Katella once you cross the 605.  Then proceed as above.

If you're coming from Orange County, drive West on Katella.
Wallingsford is the first street past Los Alamitos Blvd.  Turn LEFT on
Wallisngsford and proceed as above.

If you're driving South on the 605 you should exit on
Katella, and proceed as above.
