    Feis: Clarkson an Samhra

Fun, but looong feis. I could have done worse, it was my first time to compete in all Open dances and I won 4th's in Slip Jig, Treble Jig and Set, plus a 5th in Reel. Fairly large comps, 15-20 dancers each, which made it fun. Treble reel at the end of the day was a blast, MANY dancers, great music and a wonderuflly responsive audience! I didn't place, but my friend Carolyn got a 5th in her age group, I was so proud of her!! =) At the last minute when my turn came to perform, I decided to put my hands on my hips at two intervals of my step, my mom was beaming at me waaaay in the back of the room ...I wonder if I came off as dorky as I felt LOL(luv ya mom)

Had a blast here, went with friends from class and Melanie from the Clarkson school. In my competitions I wond two firsts (Reel and Slip Jig) and 4th place in Hornpipe.

    Feis: Inisacla - Memphis

This was just the *greatest* feis, awesome stages, it ran fast and smoothly, great musicians..and..cool judges! lol I ended up getting three 1st's and a 4th. (1st's in Slip jig, reel and hornpipe, 4th in treble jig.) First time to go to a ceili at the end of the day, had a blast, met a reel nice girl (Jessamy) whom I later found out was my penpal on the internet for months before i met her!

Feis: Drake School, peach State Feis

First time to wear my solo dress to a feis. Very long drive (10 hours) but luckily time passes fast when you are gabbing with friends. These were all Novice dances for me, I placed 1st in Hornpipe, 1st in Treble Jig, 3rd in Reel and 3rd in Slip Jig. We watched Olive Hurley dance at the Ceili afterwards, and on the drive home we passed through Lookout Mountain in TN!
