A former New York University (SCE) summer student, in the Advanced Skills for College Course, Mr Josuel Rodrigues Barbosa (DIEL) has taught English for over 20 years, both as a Private Teacher for Companies as well as a Teacher for Advanced Conversation at Language Schools in Recife, São Paulo and New York. Mr. Barbosa has lived in Brazil, in the United States and in Canada.
Mr. Barbosa holds Certificates in English Proficiency from the University of Michigan and the University of London as well as 630 points on the TOEFL and has dedicated most of his life to the studying and development of EFL/ESL Teaching Techniques. As a volunteer teacher, Mr. Josuel R. Barbosa has also dedicated some of his time to teaching English for free to the many needy students at local Non-Government Organizations such as LBV and FLAU in Recife-PE/Brazil.
Creator of the FREE COURSES PROGRAM as a part of the EDUCATION FOR EVERYONE PROJECT which aims at providing Free Education to needy, financially-under-privileged students in poor communities through free English and Salesmanship classes with basic concepts of Adertising, Marketing, Planning and Total Quality, Mr. Barbosa has been trying to get sponsorship to start the program DIEL - CENTER FOR EDUCATION, CULTURE AND CITIZENSHIP, in Ibura, one of the most violent boroughs in Recife-PE, Brazil, which, as a consequence, would benefit other neighboring communities as poor, or even poorer, such as Três Carneiros , Zumbi do Pacheco, etc
