| Hi, These are my experiments with the JPEG2000 format which is such a "hot" topic these days. According to the literature, JPEG2000 format yields better image quality for a given file size compared to JPEG. Let's see if that is really true... Source image is 492 x 353 Pixels large; each pixel displaying one of the 16 million colours. Image size (uncompressed bitmap) is 508 KB. This is taken as the reference.
