Pacesetter cat back with an ultraflo muffler, gutted cat, custom made 1993 rx7 hybrid turbo, k&n filter, superchip,chrome valve cover, front strut, rear strut tower bar, addco sway bar end links front and rear, auto meter boost gauge, cyberdyne lean rich gauge, 16" borbet rims w/ 205/50/16 michelin pilots.
MODS TO THE BLACK 1990: THIS IS OUR PROJECT PROBE
Pacesetter cat back with an apexi dunk muffler, turbo back exhaust system, bored motor .20 over,bowl ported head with a 3 angle valve job done by LADDS PORTING here in MD, ported intake(gasket matched to the intake gasket), SPEARCO front mount intercooler, HKS intercooler pipes, E.L. PROTOTYPES chip, pacesetter short throw shifter, ACT clutch(6 puck with the 2600 lb pressure plate) 16x7 1/2" BBS MODA m1 chrome rims, polyurethane sway bar endlinks by ADDCO front and rear, front and rear strut tower bar, tokico illumina 5 way adjustable struts, ground control springs, chrome valve cover and chrome intake and a polished VAF, 160o thermostat, manual boost controller, GREDDY blow off valve, K&N filter, custom rx7 turbo hybrid(pictured to the right).
FUTURE mods:
larger turbo(maybe a t3/t4 garrett), upgrade the fuel system ie.. pump(93 rx7 turbo) and injectors(either bigger ones in the stock position or plumb four more stock ones into each runner of the intake manifold) fuel pressure regulator, bigger fuel line and a MSD to help out with the ignition.
MODS TO THE BLACK 1989:Rx7 hybrid turbo, gutted cat, no muffler, air filter, HKS FCON, HKS intercooler pipes, suspension tecniques springs, nitto nt 450 tires 205/50/15 on the stock rims. CAR WAS SOLD!! It was the first to use the rx7 hybrid and with the upgrades it had on it and 11PSI it was able to go 14.0@105 MPH!!! this was an experimental turbo and it proved to work out pretty good. I have now made another turbo which is the upgrade to that one. i think with this turbo and about 18 psi,exhaust, air filter, and chip and a fuel pressure regulator you should go into the mid 13's easy!!!
