| My trip is all planned and it's time to go I have many miles to travel I know This time I don't need a bus or a car Not even a plane can take me that far So I close my eyes the trip now begins In seconds I'm there with my dearest friends Yet when I arrive I find them alone Both children are gone and out on their own I hear all the things each one has to say As they speak of dreams they have every day So simple and sweet the dreams that they share I see on their face a love that is rare Though sadness is there of dreams yet to be When life's made it hard for dreamers to see If only my friends could hear me somehow Here's what I would say to my dreamers now "God knows all about the things you go through He knows just how much your dreams mean to you But sometimes a dream is not in his plan Yet he knows in time that you'll understand He gave us this life heart, body and soul "God's Will Must Be Done" if he's in control Be glad for your dreams though some won't come true They never are lost God changed them for you Yes dreams give you hope and strength to survive And dreams often keep the dreamer alive So follow your heart you dreamer of dreams And soon you will know what all of it means When you think you've reached the end of that rope Remember one thing "The Dreamer" has hope © By: Freda H.
