Mission Statement for the Great Dane Club of Kentuckiana, Est. 1971
(Affiliate of the Great Dane Club of America)
Educate the public on the health, welfare, and responsible ownership of our beloved Great Danes.
Encourage and promote quality breeding of purebred Great Danes. To protect and promote the advancement of the Great Dane and to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard by which Great Danes should be judged. To conduct specialty shows and obedience trials under the rules of American Kennel Club. Protect and advance the interests of
the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows as well as obedience trials.
To aid and assist the Great Dane Club of America in encouraging the study of the breed by breeders,
owners, exhibitors, judges and all others interested in the breed

MEETINGS
Normally held the 3rd Thursday of each month, and are open to all who wish to attend, at
Cardinal Hall of Fame Cafe in Louisville, Ky. We are always looking for new
members who want to learn more about this wonderful breed and lend a helping hand when needed.

Our next meeting will be May 15th at 6:30 pm for the Board Meeting
and 7:00 pm for the General Meeting.

Hope to see everyone and especially some new faces. We are a friendly group and would love to
meet any new Dane Owners in the area and help any owners new to our wonderful breed.
The food is great and we look forward to a good meeting.
