This is a new parable,
written for the edification of Jewish and non-Jewish believers,
particularly leaders with connections to the Messianic movement.

It is edifying, but not comfortable.

It is a story about abuse.

It's about a "cycle of violence and silence",
the role of leadership responsibility,
and the risktaking necessary to protect targets of abuse,

...all told from the viewpoint of the Good Samaritan,
that model of rescue and love-in-action
given to us by our Messiah.

Only in this parable, he becomes the
Bad Samaritan....
