*~Jennifer Aniston plays Rachel Green a somewhat smart but ditzy 30 plus year old woman who hasn't always succeeded with any sort of relationship. She is best friends with Monica. She has dated Ross and had a baby girl whom he was the father of. She currently lives with Joey after a fight with Ross and was with Joey at the conclusion of season nine.

*~Courteney Cox Arquette plays Monica Gellar a very perky, yet decisive woman and the younger sister of Ross. She currently is head chef at Javu's in Manhattan. Also she is now married to Chandler Bing, they have tried to have children but haven't yet succeeded and have thought of adoption.

*~Lisa Kudrow plays Phoebe Buffay probably the weirdest person of the six. Phoebe has an unusual, but humerous personality that makes her hard to hate. She loves animals and loves to play her guitar. She has had many boyfriends, but at the end of season nine she was dating Mike exclusively.

*~Matt LeBlanc plays Joey Tribbiani the non-brains of the bunch. Joey is a small time actor in the soap "Days of Our Lives." He is obsessed with women and has never really held a substantial relationship. Joey isn't the brightest crayon in the box, but when the group is in trouble he always seems to figure things out.

*~Matthew Perry plays impressionest Chandler Bing. Chandler has never been successful with women until he started dating Monica. They hit it off and eventually got married. Chandler now lives with Monica in her apartment. Chandler loves to crack people up with his stupid jokes, especially when he's nervous, and on occasion the jokes can be funny.

*~David Schwimmer plays practicalist Ross Gellar. Ross has always been a bookworm, and now has a doctorate in palaeontology and works in a museum. He has dated Rachel in the past and has been divorced three times. As you can tell he has not been successful in short and long term relationships. Ross has two kids, Ben (with Carol) and Emma (with Rachel).
