High School: Led Governor Livingston High School in in rebounding and blocked shots each of the last three seasons, and averaged 11 points and 14 rebounds a game as a senior....also participated in high jump for Governor Livingston track & field program.

Personal: Maya Emerald Monroe....daughter of New York Knicks and Baltimore Bullets legend Earl "The Pearl" Monroe and Marita Monroe....signed letter of intent to attend Georgia Tech 4/11/2001.
