The Shelties you see below are
currently available for adoption , unless otherwise noted.
To begin the Adoption process, you will need to read this first. Adoption
Information
All dogs in our
program are purebred Shelties, unless otherwise noted.
All Shelties
listed are vet checked and healthy, spayed or neutered, current on
shots, HW tested, wormed, flea protected and groomed before they leave
here.
We do not
recommend most Shelties with toddlers. If you have small
children, we would suggest a Lab or Golden Retriever. These breeds are
much better with small children.
For the comfort and safety of
our dogs, we require a fully fenced (front or rear) yard to adopt
a dog from us.
Size- All
Shelties that we list are measured (in inches) from the ground to the
top of the dogs back/neck....not the top of the head. There is NO SUCH
BREED as a "Miniature Sheltie". There are very small Shelties and
there are large shelties, but they are all "Shelties"
We need foster homes in the
Iowa area. Please
email us if you are interested

Mac is a 5 year
old bi black boy who forgot to stop growing! He measures about 17
inches at the front shoulder, but he's 17 inches of solid joy! This
boy needs a FAMILY to play with. He is potty trained, crate trained,
leash trained, already neutered, and up to date on all shots. Mac
gets along well with other dogs, and really wants a couple 8-12
years old kids who will run and play with him. A fenced yard is
required for Mac. He is warm, affectionate, and will fetch a toy
until he just DROPS!

Angel
- small 8 month old sable and white female
puppy!
Special Needs.
Angel is a victim of
DM. We are fairly certain this is
why she was dumped.
Right now Angel is having a major break-out because of the stress of being
spayed and from being in a shelter and then coming here. Her
hair should start filling back in once she settles in. Angel is
a small Sheltie who will only reach 15 pounds we guess. Angel
will regrow the hair on her face, but will likely have scars.
Angel is a playful, kissy, very sweet little girl, who just wants to
be held and loved. Its not her fault her breeders did not
know what they were doing. They say love is blind.... we sure
hope so.... cause this girl has lots of love to give!

Walker has had an
extremely hard life. He is a small dark sable and at 11 years old he
was turned over to rescue to determine his future. He’s extremely
shy, a result of no human contact or any kind of domestication, but
is gentile and has never barked the entire year he has been
rehabilitated. His only wish is to have a shady spot to nap in the
yard, a simple wish from a guy that has never caused any problems.
He does okay in the house if crated but needs work on his house
training. Fenced in yard required. For some reason he likes the
mower and will follow it all around the yard. Do you have a quiet
corner for him to feel safe in? |

Prince
is all alone now after the death of his owner. He is a 12 year old
sable in need of a human companion to comfort him. He likes to
wander the yard and take treats from your hand. He likes people,
other dogs, and cats. His eyes and hearing are not the greatest but
he always knows
where you are in the house and will follow you
anywhere. |

Stewart
is going to be an agility champ some day. He is a happy healthy 1.5
year old sable male. He loves playing and is currently best friends
with Angel. Other dogs, cats, and children would suit him just fine.
Not much gets past him, he has to be involved in everything. True to
his breed he is athletic and smart so it anyone would take the time
to train him he could pick up anything. He’s around 22
pounds.
