Lions Gate
The Jerusalem Lions
King of Cydon (Fenicia, today Sidon Lebanon)
presented to King Salomon a Throne, ornamented with Lions.
Only when clever man approaches the Throne, the Lions tilt their heads with respect.
The Persians that conquered Jerusalem, took the Throne to Persia,
but when Persian kings approached the Throne the Lions bite them.
Then Alexander the Great moved the Throne to Alexandria, and again the Lions bite him.
Since then, the Throne and the Lions are waiting for the clever man like King Salomon.
