Kaktovik is one of the best places in the world to see polar bears, and is also a top-notch birding destination. Numerous historical sites exist in the area around town which showcase the native history of far-north Alaska. Our town of 300 people would love to show you around!
Note: On any excursion from Kaktovik, it
is highly recommended that you wear warm clothes and a hat, and probably
bring along some rain gear. It's very windy on the boats!
