| This is the Annan River near Cooktown. The main fish is the Purple spotted gudgeon as above but the fins and tail fin is a blushing red colour, they are in abundance in this river, The other fish are some bream a few, and the Mudcod. We used squid tenticals on thread and the gudgeons swallowed the tentical and were able to be lifted out. This fish is great numbers in all the pools. |
