This is created by Geocities, and you'll need to remove it after you copy the code to your diary. So, when you copy the code, if you see something at the bottom of the code like this: "!-- text below generated by server. PLEASE REMOVE --", delete it!

These are my experiments. Designs I liked enough to produce, but not always to perfect. Some may not work perfectly on every browser/platform (I try to at least look at them on different browsers, so I can warn you about that). Because all these templates are, by their nature, not things I want to go back and work on later, I generally don't save image files and such - so I usually can't customize these for you. But if you're really desperate and the problem's a simple one (say, you love the template, but the navigation image says "girl" and you're a guy), I might be able to help.

There are two basic types of templates: ones for diaries and ones for blogs. The main difference is in how the pages are laid out; the blog-style designs are meant for longer pages with multiple entries. Diary-style templates come preset with Diaryland.com template variables, and blog-style templates come preset with Blogger.com template variables. You can easily change the variable set to work with any other service (include adapting a Blogger template for Diaryland, even), as long as you're familiar with the template variables for your site. So easy!

All of these designs are free to use on your site. I love when you modify them. I encourage you to learn HTML by using these templates as a base. Please read the terms of use to understand what modifications are acceptable. By the way, if you really like the templates, or learn alot from using them, you can always send me a present.
