Abby and the Bike
|
|
Hello and thanks for visiting!
My name is Kevin Stephens and
this web site is about my two greatest pleasures-
my daughter Abby and my cycling.
Abby was born on October 16, 2000. She is the most precious thing in my life and is a wonderful little
person. She continues to grow and develop mentally and physically and will soon shine her light on this world.
When I am not taking care of my daughter, I love to get on my bike and hit the road. I started racing in
2000 and love it. I try to train as much as possible and race whenever I can, which is about 8-10 times a year. I race mainly in the cat 4/5 and citizens races. If I can ever get a solid training schedule I will try to move up in category. Abby and I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and there is quite a bit of road race activity around here. I currently race for the Redline Racing team based out of the Village Cycle Sport and Bike Pros shops. I ride an Airborne 50 cm titanium frame with full Shimano Dura Ace components and Mavic Ksyrium wheels. I also have a pair of Zipp carbon tubulars for race wheels. It is an awesome bike! If you have any questions or suggestions or would like to go for a training ride, just drop me a note. Thanks! |
