Sorry, But There was No KurtAngle On Sunday, Night Heat. :(

However, I will Give you the results of sunday night heat-6/11/00

Sunday Night HEAT kicked off with a European Title defense pitting champion Eddie Guerrero against former Hardcore Champion Crash Holly. Crash proved that there's more to his game than the use of trash cans, fire hydrants and other assorted weapons, impressing throughout with technical in-ring ability.

But Guerrero's experience and ring presence was a bit too much for young Crash. Guerrero blocked a Crash superplex attempt and executed a flying head scissors from the top rope to earn the win and retain his title.

A spot in the King of the Ring tournament was at stake when Buh Buh Ray Dudley battled the Big Boss Man. The former prison guard dominated the match until distracted by Bull Buchanan. Buh Buh Ray backdropped the Boss Man over the top rope onto the floor, where the two former partners and friends exchanged blows.

When the Boss Man attempted to re-enter the ring, he was nailed with a nightstick by Bull. Moments later, an opportunistic Buh Buh Ray finished off the Boss Man with a Buh Buh Cutter to advance to the round of 16.

Steve Blackman took on D'Lo Brown in another King of the Ring qualifying match.

An already physical encounter took to the outside when Blackman threw Brown against both the ringside barrier and the steel steps.

A resilient Brown might have finished off Blackman after hitting Sky High, but wound up getting the disqualification win when Al Snow nailed both he and referee Teddy Long with Head.

Not surprising was Snow coming to the aid of his Tag Team partner, but unlike the serious, Zen-like Snow seen in recent weeks, it was the crazy, maniacal side of him previously forgotten!

Yet another spot in the King of the Ring tournament was up for grabs, this between Perry Saturn and D-Von Dudley. Attention from a long and grueling match was diverted when Tori made her way ringside. With Tori in the clutches of Buh Buh Ray Dudley, X-Pac and Road Dogg saved her once again when X-Pac X-Factored Buh Buh Ray on the concrete floor. With the referee Tim White's back turned, Road Dogg used the top rope to clothesline a distracted D-Von.

A Saturn powerbomb and subsequent flying elbow translated into his advancement in the tournament.

Chris Benoit put the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Chris Jericho, Hardcore Holly and Val Venis in a Four Corners Match, in which the first man to earn a pinfall or submission wins.

The pace was fast and furious with Jericho nearly pulling it off after locking Venis in the Walls of Jericho. Hardcore was about to hit Jericho from behind but was thwarted by Benoit, who took away the chair and nailed Hardcore as referee Mike Chiota was asking Venis if he gave up.

Venis did tap out, but not before Chiota counted Holly out to give Benoit the win. A frustrated Jericho pleaded his case to no avail as Benoit left ringside still Intercontinental Champion to end the broadcast.
