What is SLUGS?

Students of Leicester University Guides and Scouts (SLUGS) is the branch of SSAGO (Student Scout and Guide Organisation) at the University of Leicester. We aim to promote Scouting and Guiding within the university, and provide a social framework for our members to maintain an interest in Scouting and Guiding (we go to the pub every week!) The intention is to have as diverse a programme as possible and to offer a series of activities to members, which would not be available through other routes.

    As a part of SSAGO, the club also participates in national rallies, which are held every term at different universities. We also take part in regional events with other clubs.
