In Late 1976, A band from Los Angeles came through Seattle opening the show for Aerosmith named "STARZ". Since we were trying to record original songs we thought that we had better alter our name slightly to "SEATTLE STAR". Ironicly, STARZ didn't go anywhere.

This was the short period when Drummer Larry Dragland was resting his injured  back for a few months

Seattle Star-Summer 1977

Seattle Star's last gig was at "Rathskeller's" in The university district of Seattle on November 11, 1977. They had every musician in town (seemed like)  sitting in with the band at various times during the five night gig.

The Darrell Beaver Section "The Beav"

Darrell Beaver Sighting!!! He was our Lighting Tech and is alive,doing well and married in Pomona California!!! Thanks to Rob "I'm with the Allies"Smith for the detective work. 2003-2004

Darrell says he absolutly hates this picture and demanded that it gets removed. Ha! Too Bad!

We have been looking for Jay Weston for quite a while. Last seen in 1987 at a partial Seattle Star 10 year reunion gig. We lost contact. If anyone knows him please have him write to leifeddy@yahoo.com We are looking to include him in a special project slated for summer 2006
