Preobrazhensky Life Guard - one of the two first and best regiments of Russian Imperial Foot Guard. Being most experienced unit during creation of the regular army in early 18th century, Preobrazhensky remained army's elite regiment till the end of Russian Empire. Although it was priveleged unit, it faught consistently through it's history and greatly contributed to the Russian military glory. One of the brightest pages of its regimental history were written during the Europe's most thrilling period - the Napoleonic wars. 
Two centuries later, dark green jackets faced red can be seen again in towns of Russia and Europe, gun smoke flows over once glorious battlefields. Re-enactors from Saint-Petersburg, Russia, present Preobrazhensky Life Guard Regiment in 1812-1814 period.
