Louisville Civil War Round Table

The Louisville Civil War Round Table

1028 Sarah Ave., Louisville, KY 40219

The purpose of The Louisville Civil War Round Table is to study all aspects of the American Civil War and to promote the interchange of knowledge about it. Our members’ interests in the War between the States are varied and their knowledge ranges from elementary to expert.

Our activities include nine dinner meetings per year (September—May), a one-day Fall field trip, and a five-day Spring field trip. Our dinner meetings feature a speaker who discusses a Civil War topic. Our organization also makes an annual contribution to a Civil War preservation project.

Memberships

We welcome new members and have three levels of membership:

1. Regular $30 Basic Membership

2. Family $ 35 Family Membership, allows spouse or family member to join. $5 for each additional family member living in the same household

3. Patron $50 or more Membership for individual and spouse or one other family member with financial gift to the Round Table. The Round Table is a tax exempt organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code; therefore, the gift portion of Patron dues (excess over the amount required for Regular or Family membership) is deductible for income tax purposes.
