Hello everyone -- it's the one and only Unicorn Lady here.   My old web site at www.unicornlady.net will soon be deleted and I will no longer be maintaining any type of a site.  This change is due to a number of circumstances beyond my control.  My apologies to my many wonderful visitors.  Sorry...that Fairy Realm I was working on will never become a reality :-(.  Feel like I've lost not only a place to honor the unicorns who have given me so many blessings, but also a lot of fellow believers/friends.

The reason for this page is to attempt to explain what happened.  When I decided to take down my web site, I took the necessary steps, but in the wrong sequence.  Feel pretty stupid now, but at the time I was very tired and under a lot of stress so.... mistakes were made.

Thus, I no longer have access to anything stored in my old mailbox at unicornlady@unicornlady.net.  Neither am I able to access my web pages to make the necessary changes and let you know what happened.

Tried contacting Yahoo (my web hosting service) but that only resulted in more frustration and was not able to get my old Yahoo identity reactivated so could do things properly.

As a result, I've lost all of my email addresses, all of the saved messages from people who sent special requests, etc. etc.  In addition, while my old web site is still functioning (sort of), it's a bit of a mess and many of the images are not loading. Don't know how much longer it will even be accessible.

I've created this new page in hopes that some of you may eventually find your way here and we can reestablish contact with each other.  Have all my fingers and toes crossed that I will hear from some of you again.  Had several pending requests for larger images, various types of information, a request to create am "Emergency" theme, etc.  and want to at least try to get back in touch with some of these people. This is the only way I could figure out that it MIGHT be done.

Here's the latest update on the old website.  Apparently it's still up and functioning to some extent. So.....have been in contact with Yahoo and we are now working to get it back under my control so I can fix the problems with images not loading and continue to work on developing the site.  The Fairy Realm might just become a reality folks!

When began the process of shutting down the site in January, figured that was it.  But somehow the unicorns just wouldn't let it happen.  Yahoo's web hosting service told me they thought the site was still being paid for all this time, which is why it's still working.  A bit of unicorn magic do you think??!!

Anyway, Yahoo's engineers are busy trying to make the switch over to my new Yahoo identify and get everything straightened out.  It's been over a week and they're still working on it.  Guess it's a bit complicated.

Keep your fingers and toes crossed.  Mystical Unicorn is apparently still alive and well and will continue to share the magic of the unicorns with all of its visitors.

UPDATE:  June 3, 2003

The unicorns have done it, everyone!  As of today, I am back in control of my web site. It took long enough, but it is a done deal.  Will now be able to make corrections and additions and keep on working on developing the new pages previously envisioned. Thanks to all who wrote to lend their support. The biggest thanks have to go to the unicorns themselves.  They never gave up on me even when I tried to give up on them and that's why Mystical Unicorn is still in business.
