We have always been there on the First Wednesday of the month at Noon unless some "worthy cause" causes a change to another day of the Week or Month.
LOCATION: Every Month at the Corner of 26th Avenue (Hwy 49) and Hardy Street (198). Lynn and i know the "Corner" and it is High Impact and yet mostly Friendly. It is right by the University. There are fast food restaurants near by and Noon Traffic is Good !!!
TIME AND DATE: NOON (11:45 AM to 1 PM) on THE FIRST !!!Wednesday every month.

We have standing on the North East Corner by a Restaurant across the street from Walgreen's. Maybe Others and some more students will participate in the coming months and all 4 corners will be utilized. ... please Invite Others!
Lynn and i try to be there every first Wednesday. Once, we had to unexectedly help a friend and new roomate move and missed once. ... that is only once in over a year! We have to drive over 80 miles round trip from Magee. We wish more People would get involved and show up!
We are still committed to being there on the First Wednesday, but if by chance we cannot make it ...PLEASE CARRY ON WITHOUT US !!!
Classes are now in session. There is busy Noon Traffic.
It would be Good to have it more than once a month, but lynn says once a month feels right for now. If the Group wishes to discuss this, we can discuss it after the Peace Cornering on Wed. (@ about 1PM).
There continues to be Many Positive Reactions and Responses mixed with also some Anger directed at Us.

also...PS One month last year, a Hattiesburg Policeman came up right before we were about to leave. We normally stay out "On the Corner" about 1 hour for the Noon Time Traffic. Never before had any Police stopped and many have driven by and even with a friendly nod or wave. Others just have seemed to react to us as if it was not out of the ordinary. This Policeman said there was a "complaint" and his supervisor said we needed a "Permit". As we were just leaving, we told him we had been there for the last 3 months without any problem but we would inquire about this with the City before returning in December. We did inquire with the City. They informed they had no such "permits" and did not know of any requirement. We contacted the Community Relations Dept. of the Hattiesburg Police. Captain Davis assured us very politely that no permit was required and it was a mistake that we were asked to have one. If any future "Misunderstandings-understandings" happen like this, we would just be able to say that we had contacted Captain Davis and had his "O.K." that it was completely allowed and within our Freedom of _Expression Rights.
Since then, we had no such incident with local police driving by without stopping or reacting as if there was anything wrong or inappropriate.
