-Today on TRL, there was a segment on the movie "Fat Albert" which Aaron is in. Some Aaron quotes from the MTV interview: "I'm guessing I'm gonna have to go to the store and get some type of video or DVD," he admitted a few weeks into shooting. -Aaron will perform at the opening ceremony for the International Children's Games in Cleveland OH, Friday July 30th. The evening will begin with a rock 'n roll sing-along show. Nearly 3,000 athletes and coaches from 58 countries will then parade to their seats to watch Aaron Carter and about 50 dancers. Fireworks will end the evening!

-Sadly, this past Tuesday, Feb. 24th, Mrs. Barbara Carter (Aaron's Grandmother) passed away in her New York home due to an ongoing illness. She was laid to rest yesterday, Saturday the 28th, in New York. May she rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Carter family through these sad times.

-Here's a great story from Misha Hamilton! Madonna auditions were Saturday morning in New York, and they had The Pulse workshop in the afternoon, so he and Tony Testa decided to go. They were allowed in because they had parental consent faxed to the auditions (they're both minors). They kept making it through cut after cut, and were told to find out, hypothetically, if they'd be allowed to tour. Tony's mom said no because it's a March-to-September tour, but Misha's mom said absolutely. He continued to audition, missing The Pulse workshop that day, and returned for Sunday's audition. He made it to the top 10, then auditioned in front of Madonna! He made it past another cut (down to 8 dancers from the original 500 or so) -- everyone LOVED him! (and Tony too!) Jamie King, who Brian Friedman considers the best dancer in the world, said he was inspired by Misha's performance and thinks he's phenomenal. Unfortunately, Misha could not be chosen because he's under 18, but Madonna would like to work with him in the future! He really got his name out there to some important people, so congratulations to both boys!

The rest of the dancers joined him in Los Angeles for a quick shoot with Britney Spears and her dancers -- they got to walk around and act a little, but couldn't dance in the filming because, again, legal issues with their age. They got to meet Britney and Blake McGrath out there!
