May 1 2000 - ROMA (Tor Vergata)

I've seen it on TV just on the day before the gig in Milan. There had been a lot of talking about this event because Lou were to play on the same stage from which the Pope John Paul II preached the Mass in the morning: the Pope and the black poet... ("Much to do about nothing" would have said Shakespeare). He played five songs. Backing band: Mike Rathke (guitar) Fernando Saunders (bass) and Tony "thunder" Smith (drums). L'ho visto in TV proprio il giorno prima del concerto a Milano. Si è parlato molto di questo evento perchè Lou avrebbe suonato sullo stesso palco dal quale il Papa Giovanni Paolo II avrebbe presieduto la Messa al mattino: il Papa e il poeta nero... ("Molto rumore per nulla" avrebbe detto Shakespeare). Ha suonato cinque canzoni. Band: Mike Rathke (chitarra) Fernando Saunders (basso) e Tony "thunder" Smith (percussioni).

May 2 2000 - MILANO (Alkatraz)

I was there; I've really enjoyed the event, I was lucky enough to stand few meters from the stage. I'm not willing to linger on describing the crowd, the atmosphere and the music; it were two hours and a half spent in another dimension. Backing band: Mike Rathke (guitar) Fernando Saunders (bass) and Tony "thunder" Smith (drums). Ero lì e mi è piaciuto molto, sono stata abbastanza fortunata da essere a pochi metri dal palco. Non mi attarderò a descrivere la folla, l'atmosfera e la musica; sono state due ore e mezza vissute in un'altra dimensione. Band: Mike Rathke (chitarra) Fernando Saunders (basso) e Tony "thunder" Smith (percussioni).
