Hello everybody and welcome to my web site. My name is Milen Kazandjiev and I am from Bulgaria. I was born in a small but beautiful town named Veliko Tarnovo It is the old capital of Bulgaria 1185-1393 AD. Currently I live in the capital city - Sofia. I am married and I have a beautiful daughter. By profession I am an IT engineer.
Some time ago I used to compose music. In fact I started with composing when I first touched to the computers. It was in 1991. I discovered I can make music with them. During this time the only software for this was MODEDIT for DOS - at least I knew only this software, it is a tracker program which has 4 channels (tracks) for instruments i.e. you can play simultaneously 4 instruments - one per track. If you are good enough you can play and more than 4. The other thing I'd like to share is that when I say composing music I don't mean to mix samples cutted from different songs and make loops with them.
I have been asked from many people who wanted to make music using computers - do they need to play an instrument in order to make computer music. The answer is NO, but you have to know the music theory for harmony etc. if you want to write good compositions. So, it is preferable to play an instrument. I personally can play piano, guitar and drums, but I am an amateur.
I have released an album named "Millonne K.'s Fantasies". It appeared on Bulgarian market on March 1999. In 1999 I also wrote 5 songs for the girls' band "Sweet Dreams". One of the songs is included in "downloads" /lyrics, music and arrangement are written by me/.
