Now a little about me: I was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on 20 Feb 1947, moved to Gulfport, MS in 1961 and moved to California in 1974, finally settling in Alhambra, on the northeast corner of the city of Los Angeles.
I am an inveterate film buff who has worked as a cinema projectionist for most of my adult life. My all-time favourite movie is Ben-Hur, with Citizen Kane and Casablanca close behind.
I listen to all music, with a special affection for blues, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beatles, The Bangles, The Continental Drifters, Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Mark Knopfler (with and without Dire Straits), Johnny Cash, The Modern Jazz Quartet, George Gershwin (especially Rhapsody In Blue), and Mozart.
I'm a diehard baseball fan who bleeds Dodger blue; I also follow the Anaheim Angels and Toronto Blue Jays. I play guitar, write poetry, some of which has been published, and practice yoga and meditation to stay centered. I'm a big fan of Third Watch, Joan of Arcadia, NYPD Blue, Law and Order, and Masterpiece Theater and Mystery! on PBS.
