Destination: Nandan, Kolkata. Time: 11 am, 22 Oct, Maha-nabami. it was guha's call that woke me up at sharp 11. he thought i was already out there. and then the frantic calls from kali & debu started coming in. finally, when i reached there it was 12 and the whole team was waiting impatiently to welcome me with sweet words and swinging feet. thanx to debu's family presence (his wife and sweet little daughter), they perhaps thought to spare me for the day. to the left: Kutsab, kali, goo-pee, goo-lee, debu's wife & daughter, debu, kastha & kaku (pritam and devadyuti missing here) | |||

As per previous discussion held, debu sent his family back home almost immediately. our next target was INOX, elgin road. though we originally headed for 'Oh! Calcutta' restaurant, we somehow landed up at 'startstruck', the buffet. the food was ok. and we had a long chit chat. meanwhile, hego called up and spoke to every one. he kept himself awake till the wee hours just to connect to our celebration. Kudos to him!! goo-pee left here as he had some **** to do elsewhere. One wicket down. |  |

Devadyuti too left with some obnoxious reasons.. but before he left, he let us know that he officially GOT MARRIED in 2003 & planning to have the social marriage by next year. i am awestruck! Left: smoking session. and the baba turned kaku is anxious to go home, to spend time with BOU & CHHELE. :(( |  |

Had a wonderful adda and chaa here at lake. The lake experience was a great one! as most of us coming to this place years after... Debu left after a while as his wife's call started pouring in continuously... :)) the goatee-babu was going to celebrate his daughter's 1st b'day. surprisingly he didnt invite!!! :(( ha ha. jus' kidding. the real surprise package was Dadoo. he's exactly the same, when i last met him around 5 years ago. no visible changes except for the year. dadoo is really looking smart. sadly he carries home-made food and boiled water thesedays as he had a chronic jaundice. |  |

6:00 in the evening. Kutsab ran away for the dandiya at swabhumi. so did dadu. me & goolee, after a long walk down the tram line from sakherbazar to chowrasta and a long chat, changed our ways only to say bye to a beautiful Day...
