For Tucumcari & Clovis area Class dates SCROLL DOWN.
1st half 2008 Classes
Clovis classes will be held the 1st Saturday of every month at VFW Post 3280, 200 West Grand Ave, Downtown Clovis (several blocks south of the Sonic Drive Inn).
Tucumcari classes will be held the 3rd Saturday of every month at the Quality Inn, East Route-66 Blvd. & CR-63 (I-40), East Tucumcari.
The Tucumcari Holiday Inn has changed names to Quality Inn. Classes will continue to be held there.

Alcohol Server Certification.
All Employers and Employees serving, handling or selling alcohol,
in the State of New Mexico, MUST have a
Alcohol Server Certification
within 30 days of employment. If you are a Manager, Bar Tender,
Waitress, Waiter, Sales Clerk, Cashier, Stock Person or ID checker at the door in a
Supermarket, Grocery Store, 24 hour Store, Restaurant, Fast
Food Facility, Lounge or Bar that sells Alcohol of any type,
you must be certified. Individuals between 19 and 21 years
of age cannot be Bar Tenders or Cocktail Servers but can be
Restaurant Servers.
If you are looking for work in the above job markets, you will be better
qualified for the job, IF you are certified.
You must carry the Certification Card with you at all times when at work and
your employer must keep a copy in his/her files. The certification is good
for five years.
IF YOU LOOSE YOUR CERTIFICATION CARD or If you did not receive your card within 30 days of completing the Server Class:
YOU Must call New
Mexico Alcohol & Gaming at 505-476-4875 and
advise them that you need a replacement card. If your card was lost, fill out this
License Replacement Request web PDF form, print it out and Fax or Mail it to NM AGD.
You can not serve alcohol till you receive the new card. (Copies of your
original card are not acceptable!)
I certify individuals wishing to become alcohol servers or handlers. I work through The Safety Institute of New Mexico. I primarily work in the areas of Tucumcari, Logan & Clovis, NM (see class dates below) and/or I will travel to your location if you have seven (7) or more individuals who need certifications. Please call or e-mail if you wish to set up a class or have questions. All walk in's are welcome, class reservations are not necessary. It is NOT required that employers pay for their employees to attend these classes.
