Often times, I'm surprised at how little I actually remember.

Most of the time, I'm quite grateful, as the things that surface - like bubbles from the bottom of a rather murky pond - aren't exactly the most pleasant things in the world.

It's a reminder. Sometimes something as simple as a smell, a laugh, a turn of phrase.

It's been quiet.
