Moses was grrrrrreat!! It seemed like we all had a lot of fun. Friday Eric,Lacy,Jeff Smith,Cori, and I got there around two o'clock in the afternoon. Shortly after we arrived Scott and his group pulled up to join us(all new friends). It was a nice day mostly sunny and around 60 or better. We got camp set up then some of us took off for a ride. The sand was sooo smooth, remember we were in sandlake last where it never seems to be smooth, and we loved it. Rob pulled in a little later and brought James' bike along. We were happy to see Rob because it's been since november when we saw him last. James' bike looked great especially since the last time I saw it. This was to be his first weekend riding again since he broke his back in florence last year. A few more people were to be coming later that night and early saturday including Tony,Tiff,Aaron,Kendrick,James,Jeff,and Cheli. All in all there were thirty people in our group this time, it just keeps getting bigger. We went on many rides on saturday all had a good time. Everyone was safe and no one got hurt. There were many rigs (jeeps, 4x4's, and rails) out and the action was going all day. From grudge match sanddrags to rigs jumping to guys on bikes doing freestyle jumping, some of the best I have seen outside of a professional setting. There was an old style Bronco jumping about 6-7 feet high and about 30 feet long, it was amazing. The sand drags went late into the night and a few of us headed out there after we had birthday cake for Eric F. and Shelly Webb ( the last name is to clarify which Shelly since there were three). There were some blazin fast rigs and quads out there and the excitement just kept going but I was unaware of the excitement back at camp. Well, there was a live band playing at a camp nearby and our camp was running out of fire wood. The drunk thief bros Jeff S. and James went over to check it out and each came back with a huge piece of firewood, and someone even asked them where they were going with thier wood so they told 'em "back to our camp". The bros went back a second time and came back with a half gallon of vodka and more wood! We do not condone this activity or normally let it go because we dont want it to happen to us. It was kind of funny though when they got paranoid that the other camp would be over to kick their asses. It never hapened. Sunday was the norm people getting packed up then a short ride followed that started in the rain. We were out of there by one o'clock and now we can't wait till the next trip. We'll be at sandlake in two weeks. Ride Safe and see ya there.
