10 km from Algonquin Park - this cottage is a paddler's paradise. Beautiful serene setting for this cozy and quaint two-bedroom cottage. Very quiet and private with crown land across the river and on one side of the cottage, vacant lot on the other side. The Oxtongue River provides full boat access to Oxtongue Lake for great fishing and boating, access to two restaurants, a Trading Post and Algonquin Outfitters. Great swimming from the dock. Canoe to Ragged Falls, one of the biggest waterfalls in the area or into Algonquin Park (with portages). Thousands of acres of crown land to hike. Western exposure. The cottage is accessed by a year-round road & is available late May to early October.
