Welcome to the website of
Maharashtra Mandal of Germany. This is a cooperative effort for creating
a website for Maharastrians living in Germany as there is no such site at
present. Our aim is to create a few pages for this site related to Marathi
culture, community and people and provide information to newcomers on
Germany. One other purpose is to have a database of Maharashtrians living
in Germany. This website also takes inspiration from other Marathi websites
hosted by Maharashtra Mandals elsewhere. We will be most receptive to
viewer suggestions in order to improve the content of this website
as well as to their help to broaden access of this information to more Maharashtrians.
We do have a plan to have this website in our own Marathi language and
German as well. At the moment we know very little about the actual
number of Maharashtrians in Germany. Therefore an enormous effort is
needed to improve this website. Your contribution to this website will be
most welcome. This website is being continuously updated. Please visit us
again.
