Anti-War Protest

American public opinion towards the war has reached a significant turning point. As the death toll in Iraq rises to nearly 2,000 on the American side and 25,000 on the Iraqi side, Cindy Sheehan's vigil near President Bush's Crawford, Texas ranch has captured the hearts of thousands of Americans.People are demanding an explanation for why we are staying the course in Iraq, an explanation other than that we "owe it" to those who have already perished. Come join Cindy Sheehan and other families who have lost their children in the war in front of the White House on September 24th, to protest the current administration's stance towards the war and demand that we immediately begin to craft an effective exit strategy that will leave both people with the prospect of peace.

Transportation to and from Washington D.C will be arranged by AFPD. Bus Tickets ($15) will be sold on the walk from 9/15 to 9/20.
