When I left home I planned on going to Colorado and back, but I wound up in places I never would have expected.  Finding myself in strange new lands, I felt like I was exactly where I needed to be at that point.  I soaked up what I could in the short amount of time spent in each of the cities we visited.  It would require a lifetime to get to know a place the way someone who is born with the history and emersed in the culture and everyday life of that country knows the place.   However, there is plenty to see that can give a glimpse into the past or insight into what it is like to live there.  Much of my time was spent finding places that had something to say.  They spoke clearly to my spirit.  But these feelings could never be reproduced or gathered up and taken home.  Nevertheless, I attempted to capture them...
