DEAR DIARY,

Today I planted some new plants, near th’ lake. It was goin’ so well, when the giant squid popped up and eat most of me’ plants. I went to dumbledore, who wasn’t pleased to be spendin’ more galleons on plants. the school is underfunded as it is, through them at the ministy. They MAKE me blood boil!!! Anyway I got the new plants and planted them, i was lucky because that squid was bein’ chased by the merepole, i don’t know if they caught it. Appartely it’s bin wreckin’ the king’s cave.

I only had three classed today, I taught em’ more about flubber worms, I don’t think they were too happy (the students).

Afterwards, i went for a couple of pints of mulled mead with professor Filtwick (he didn’t drink so much!)
