Watching the news at home, is regarded as a normal family entertainment, right? A
news flash alerts the nation that a high category prisoner named Sirus Black has
escaped and he is armed.
Uncle Veron gives readers the first clue of the book, “Wait,
hang on, they are not telling us where he’s escaped from”.
That’s because this prisoner is no ‘Muggle’ prisoner, he has been banged up on the Island of Azkaban - a wizard prison. This man has broke out for a reason, but what is it?
Harry finds out that Black is a wizard prisoner, but what he doesn’t know is that he is a mass murderer, and the man who told Voldemort where his parents were, on that fateful night, in fact he was Harry’s parents best friend. However Harry doesn’t know that Black is after him, wanting to get him back for reducing Voldemort into no more than a faint smell.
Again we find out many more things about Harry’s past and the world around him, however the book is slightly disappointing, because it falls short of the standard set by the previous two books, however it is still a cracking read. HPNet rating 3/5
