Pointillism is a technique I use to create dramatic shadows and highlights placing dots closer together or further apart from one another. I prefer to use black India ink. From a distance these portraits often give the look of a black and white photograph.
Original works can be produced from your photo on 5x7 or 8x10 illustration board or watercolor paper. Photographs will be returned to you along with the artwork. For best results please submit quality photos that are close-ups if possible.
You will also have copyrights for the artwork so that greeting cards, stationary, notecards or other copies may be made to share with family and friends. |
