The Portsmouth Poetry Society are a group of poets who enjoy both writing and reading poetry.

• Fortnightly meetings
• Airing and work-shopping members own work.
• Exploring the lives and work of established poets,- both past and present.
• A member`s anthology is published periodically.
• Several of the group regularly perform their work at public readings.
• All members contribute ideas to the annual programme, which is compiled every August.
