The Pet Shop of Horrors series takes place in the heart of Los Angeles' Chinatown. The shopkeeper goes by the name Count, has a very elegant manner, and dresses in a feminine kimono.

His mysterious aura, and provactive voice allows him to sell many rare and special pets to people of all kind. But the thing that makes his shop different from others, is that these pets resemble the image of something the owner longs for. There is also a contract that must not be broken under any circumstance. If the owner fails to follow it, the outcome of what may happen to their dream pet may be unreal, and dangerous.
