Description:
The Etcetera Theatre is a fairly typical small pub theatre. It located above the Oxford Arms Pub (up a narrow set of stairs at the back end of the bar). This is a very convenient pub theatre for a visit after spending a Sunday at the Camden Market.
There are five or six rows of seats up a set of risers that directly face the black box stage on the floor. The theatre space is so small that you might run into the actors in the stairwell during intermission or before/after the show.
Generally the performances are exciting and lively. Lots of young up and coming actors do a variety of shows there. One of the unusual things about this theatre is that many nights they do two shows an evening--both and early and a late show (usually two different shows).
The Etcetera Theatre has their own web site at www.etceteratheatre.com
