| Friday January 13th, 2006 HUGE UPDATES It's Friday the 13th and spooky shit is happening...aka I updated and changed alot of the website!!! Wow!!! There are also going to be more changes coming to our actual programming. Such changes will include, more ID spots and pre-recorded fake commercials and Punked*U8 spots etc. (basically shorts intros and ID between songs). The show will have more structure to it than ever before, more segments... Also, Punked*U8 would like to announce the return of Clem as our field correspondant. Since he isn't allowed at CKLU, we're gonna have pre-recorded segments with Clem cuz technically that's all good. Also, Rob and I are kinda tired of simply talking about the weekend on the show, so we're gonna bring the show to the weekend. Basically, we're gonna record and properly document our shinanigans through use of recorded audio. So the show will not be 100% live as it will contain pre-recorded audio spots and such. This also means that their will be more interviews, of random people, of musicians, or anyone really. More public opinion, and with this will come some funny content...I promise. These major changes will make the show music/comedy program. We're really gonna bring on the comedic entertainment as well as the edge of your seat exciting banter that you've all come to know and love. Takin' Over the Airwaves, Steve |

| Tuesday January 24th, 2006 MINOR UPDATES!!! I added an all new Steve's Rant for this week all about the logistics about tax cuts. Later this week I'll start hounding Rob to write something for Rob's Thoughts. That section will be advice, opinion and real Rob stories. I'll also bug Clem for something for Clem's Corner. I also added some new pics to the pics section, 3 more of Rob and 3 more of me. Oh, and today is the first day of the dark ages in Canada...the Conservatives are running the show. To show that I am in mourning during this rough period for our country, I'm wearing a black bracelet. I'm trying to start a trend, help it catch on and show your digust with the Right Winged Conservatives (after all, the majority of Canada didn't vote for them anyways). | Thursday February 9th, 2006 NOTHING REALLY SIGNIFICANT!!! Next Monday: PREMIERE OF ANGLES AND AIRWAVES!!! Alright, so I haven't updated in over 2 weeks so I will be posting 2 Steve's Rants this week to make up for last week. Splendid. Clem and Rob haven't contributed fuck all yet, but I promise, we'll have something soon...sons of bitches! Ummmmm, oh yeah I'm putting together a CKLU fundraiser show at L.U. Pub on March 26th featuring all ages concert and a 19+ Pub Night later that day. Confirmed: Existence is Song, Delta House. More details coming soon. The format/segments section is updated slightly, I'm adding the show intro to the downloads section and we'll add some other stuff in the near future. | Tuesday February 21st, 2006 A Couple Updates New segment at 5:05pm or so: Take a Leak (not everyweek, but most) Take a Leak is where we leak a new single to the airwaves that mainstream either will never touch or will overplay within a few short weeks but hasn't heard of yet. Last week we leaked the new Taking Back Sunday single and a new NOFX tune. Oh and there's lotsa stuff in the downloads section and a new Steve's Rant(movie review this time). | Wednesday March 29th, 2006 Local Bands Section, Punked*U8 Summer...etc. Thanks to help from 'Troubleman', the site now has a pretty full local band list in the Local Bands section. Check it out now. If you know of any bands or musicians missing from the list, email us punksudbury@hotmail.com Bad news for Punked*U8. I'm working out of town from May to September so Rob and I will be pre-recording 17 hour long episodes. So Punked*U8, for the first time won't be live. There won't be up to date show info or news because we're recording all of the shows in April. We'll still have much of the same content but for one hour. Punked*U8 will have its official finale on August 28th. Rob and I will be starting a new show, at a new timeslot next fall. It'll be similar, but with no local, and more rock..
