Purchase Area Goat Association

P.A.G.A. is dedicated in assisting the Purchase Area Meat Goat Producers by providing educational, marketing and management skills. Our goal is to motivate our members to produce the highest quality goat through genetics and selective breeding in order to meet their individual goals and marketing profitability. Purchase Area Goat Association came to light when Shawn Harper an adult agriculture teacher saw a need for such an organization in the Purchase Area. The first meeting was held on September 12, 2002 at the Purchase Area Training Center in Mayfield, Kentucky. Since then P.A.G.A.  continues to grow and flourish providing much needed educational training in goat health, production and marketing to our local producers. Anyone interested in goat production is encouraged to attend our meetings. They provide a gathering of shared information, experience,  knowledge and as always they are open to the public.
